Assets

Assets will be added as a new "trail" along with the current income and expense trails. This further broadens the scope of Finance Trails as a complete financial management and planning solution, giving a truer picture of your total "financial health".

Import and Export of Data

Finance Trails aims to be the most usable solution for tracking your spend and achieving budgeting goals. Full import and export of your data is a must towards this goal. The first non-beta release of Finance Trials will feature import of data in oFX, QFC, and Excel formats. Data will be exportable as PDF, XML, oFX, and Excel formats.

Set Limits and Budget Goals

The first non-beta release will have a robust system for setting limits on spending per Virtual Account, per category, and overall, as well as The ability to set and scale budget goals over selected time periods.

Calendar View

A full calendar module will enable you to add payment data to all your trails (incomes, expenses, and assets) through a calendar interface - highly desired by some users. Think of it like Google Calendar for your money.

Standalone Version

We are investigating the various options (primarily Google Gears and Adobe Air) for making it easier to use Finance Trails at times when no Internet connection is available.
